Rattlers volleyball team secures win over Bulldogs

The Florida A&M Lady Rattlers volleyball team effortlessly snagged the win Monday with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-9, 25-19) victory over the South Carolina State Bulldogs.
This marks the fourth win of the season for the team and the Lady Rattlers proved they can bounce back from adversity, such as the loss from rival HBCU Bethune-Cookman University and the rescheduling from Hurricane Michael.

On Thursday, the Dean’s Search Committee met to narrow down the candidates for the schools future dean. The Office of the Provost is urging the committee to decide promptly, as they are hoping to secure a dean within the next two weeks.

Lady Rattlers take home the win against North Carolina A&T Aggies

The Florida A&M Lady Rattlers volleyball team fought for their victory against the North Carolina A&T Aggies last night. The Lady Rattlers won 3-0 (26-24, 25-10, and 28-26).
The beginning of the game immediately set the tone for the rest of the night with the score being close all throughout the first set. The Lady Rattlers dominated the second set with outside hitter, Maria Yvett Garcia, landing the first two kills. The Aggies eventually gained a point but a net foul on their part, would give that point right back to the Lady Rattlers.
